marine weather statement for Newfoundland issued by Environment
Canada at 7:55 p.M. NDT Monday 6 October 2008.
An intensifying low pressure system south of Nova Scotia will deepen
on Tuesday and pass just southeast of the Grand Banks in the evening.
This low will bring strong to gale force northerly winds over the
southern Grand Banks on Tuesday.
Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for the
southeastern Grand Banks and the southwestern Grand Banks southern
half.
