The combination of a tropical wave moving into south Texas this afternoon and a cold front moving offshore early Thursday will lead to scattered to numerous showers and thunderstorms through Thursday...with locally heavy rainfall possible. Generally moderate onshore flow will turn north to northeast behind a cold front Thursday. The offshore flow will weaken on Sunday and turn back east as high pressure moves east.
