    ... Dense fog advisory in effect until noon CDT today...

    The National Weather Service in Quad Cities has issued a dense
    fog advisory... which is in effect until noon CDT today.

    * Timing... until mid day.

    * Visibilities... widespread visibilities of one quarter mile or
    less will continue throughout the area. The fog will be very
    dense with near zero visibility in some places.

    * Impacts... the fog will have an impact on driving today.
    Motorists should allow for more time to reach their destinations.

    Precautionary/preparedness actions...

    A dense fog advisory means visibilities will frequently be
    reduced to less than one quarter mile. If driving... slow down...
    use your headlights... and leave plenty of distance ahead of you.
